Cho Enu Lee is a senior
at Cleveland High School in Portland, Oregon. Three years ago, she came to
the United States from Korea. She is involved in the National Honor Society
and the Vice-President of her Asian Club at school. She loves to laugh, meet
new people and have fun at whatever she does. She especially likes art and
has participated in other art contests. In 2005, she won third place at the
Annual Oregonian Design Ad Contest and her painting and ceramic pieces were
exhibited at Oregon College of Art and Craft. Her future plans include
getting her degree in Architectural Drafting, and enjoyed attending the
AAYLC 2007 conference.

Derek Pun is a sophomore
from Southridge High School. He was born
in Hong Kong on May 31, 1991. He and his family immigrated to America
in 1993. He is the younger brother of Chermaine, who is in College
right now. He
will graduate in the summer of 2009. This is his first time as a
participant in an art contest. He has been drawing since he was 5 year
old. He was inspired by cartoon TV shows.

Hieu Nguyen is a senior and communications major at Benson Polytechnic
High School. He enjoys playing tennis and spending time on computer graphic
designs. Next year, he plans to attend Oregon State University and major in
Civil Engineering.

Nathan Nguyen
is currently attending Benson High school as a junior majoring in
Engineering Drafting. Nathan likes math and other logical thinking
exercises. He plans to go to Oregon State University and major in either
Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Nathan has applied for an
engineering internship at Boeing and if he is to be accepted he will
start working at Boeing this summer. Nathan has been on honor roll every
quarter since sixth grade and continues to strive forth; taking AP
calculus and AP physics his senior year. Nathan has been involved with
school and other extracurricular activities such as the tennis team,
Asian club and other various programs demonstrating his leadership
abilities. Nathan is very sociable and an energetic person who has a fun
and relaxed personality. As an Ambassador of Benson High school he hopes
to make this year's Asian American Youth Leadership Conference an
unforgettable experience.
Nathan is also the winner of the AAYLC 2007 Logo Competition. His logo
design was chosen out of 4 entries. His winning design is on the AAYLC
2007 T-Shirts and Students/Chaperones folders on day of the conference.
