Jenna Vorasai is currently a junior at Clackamas High School. Born and
raised in a strict family, she considers herself a perfectionist and the
hardest worker in her class. As an Honor Roll student, she challenges
herself with Honors and AP classes, and still manages to maintain a 4.00
GPA. She plans to attend Oregon State University in the fall of 2009.
Her ideal careers are a pathologist and an anesthesiologist. In
addition, she is able to read and write in four different languages such
as Lao, Thai, Vietnamese, and she is currently studying Japanese.
Jenna is actively involved in various extra curricular activities. She
volunteers at ACU department at Kaiser Permanente Hospital. Also, she
participates in the Medical Explore team. Her passion is to travel to
the third world countries and provide those-in-need with medical
assistance. She is a member of Au Co Vietnamese traditional dance group;
they represent leadership and the involvement in making a better
Vietnamese community. Additionally, she is an active member of National
Honor Society and Key Club.
Throughout her high school years, Jenna has attended AAYLC twice as a
helper. This year is her first year that she will be taking a position
as an ambassador representing Clackamas High School. Jenna is willing to
contribute her full efforts in making AAYLC an incredible experience for
all the students.
