Norma "Mae" Margarita Europa was born in Ilocos Sur, Philippines and
moved here at age of 11. Mae is very proud of her heritage. She is a
senior at Aloha High School. She considers herself a perfectionist and
loves to be constantly challenged. She loves her friends and family and
plans on attending Portland Community College. Once she finishes two
years and attains her Associates of Arts, she plans on attending
Portland State University for her Nursing Degree.
Mae was involved in Big Brother Big Sisters Program and ABC club in her
Freshman and Sophomore year. She is an active member in her Church Youth
Group and in her Filipino Community. Mae is the person to go to when you
need someone to talk to or if you need help, she never hesitates to help
someone in need. This will be her fourth and final year at AAYLC, and is
very happy to have had the opportunity to be involved.
