SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS PROGRAM
AAYLC would like to congratulate Amanda Nguyen, Dana Hong and Phi Vu. These three outstanding high school students were awarded the AAYLC 2008 Scholarship Awards at the 16th Annual Asian American Youth Leadership Conference at Portland Community College Sylvania Campus on May 9, 2008. Based on their community involvement, volunteer works, strong academic abilities and power-fully written essays; they were awarded $1500, $1000 and $500 to be used towards their higher education costs.
