the fall and will be majoring in civil and environmental engineering.
Outside of school Amy does community and volunteering services. She
helps out at Snow Cap, helping sort food into boxes, which are delivered
to shelter homes and people in need. Last year she volunteered as a
counselor for Camp Invention, helping elementary kid’s brain storm,
create and invent new things. She volunteered at Portland Adventist
hospital for 2 year, running errands, filling, escorting patients and
delivering gifts to rooms. She is currently volunteering at The Oregon
Food Bank with repacking and labeling food. She enjoys helping her
community.
On her free time Amy likes to play tennis and football, she likes
reading, listening to music and she loves hanging out with her friends
and having fun!
This will be Amy’s first year as an ambassador and be the first to
represent Gresham High School. With her experience in leadership, she
hopes to promote and bring new ideas to AAYLC.
