Ka Her:
Aloha High School
| |
Ka Her is a junior at Aloha High school. She enjoys helping others and
is always up for a challenge. She has been on honor roll since her
freshman year. She has been involved with Key Club, National Honor
Society and Home Economics. Outside of school, she involves herself with
the Hmong community. During her free time, she enjoys knitting, dancing
and fishing.
After high school she plans on getting a degree in Education. She has
been taking child development classes and peer tutor to help her prep
for her future career. She also plans to travel around the world to get
hands on experience on the different types of cultures around the world.
She was raised in a Hmong community in Fresno, California until four
years old and then moved up to Oregon. She has been living in Oregon for
thirteen years now.
This is her second year to participate in AAYLC and first year to be the
ambassador representing Aloha High School. She looks forward to working
with other Asian students to help promote the conference and make this
year's conference a fun and exciting one.
