Kimberly Young is a senior from
Southridge High School and will attend the University of Oregon this fall.
She will attend the Robert D. Clark Honors College to further her academic
curiosity beyond the International Baccalaureate Program. Graduating with
full honors, Kimberly has been involved with the National Honor Society, Mu
Alpha Theta, National Forensics League, and most importantly, Asian Culture

international projects. She plans to continue her community involvement in
Eugene. She already plans to participate within the Hong Kong Student
Association.
Kimberly feels encouraged by the AAYLC's recognition of her accomplishments,
and will aspire to inspire those around her in her future. Grateful for the
opportunity through AAYLC, Kimberly will strive for both academic and
extracurricular excellence.
This scholarship was in partnership with the generous donation from PGE/Asian
