Ross
Seeman is a senior at Grant High School who is very active in business
classes and language programs at his school. Ross has taken 5 business
classes in his four years of high school and has learned Japanese, Spanish
and Latin. Next year Ross will attend Pepperdine University and plans on
studying advertising and business. While in college Ross hopes to apply his
language skills and study abroad in either China or Argentina.
Ross has always been a creative person and loves dissecting television
commercials and magazine ads, this is the inspiration for his aspired major
in college. During Ross' sophomore year, he designed school pride shirts for
his school tradeshow and sold over 150 shirts. The business classes at Grant
High School are what inspired Ross to apply for the logo design competition.
This year, Ross is enrolled in a graphic design course at his school and has
been learning how to operate the design programs on his computer. He had a
difficult time at the beginning of the year translating his visions into
computer images but has become more skilled with the computer programs
throughout the year. This is Ross' first year attending the conference, and
is very excited to see what is in store. Ross is also representing Grant
High School as their student ambassador.

Muljono Filipus is from
Indonesia and graduated from the “Taruna Nusa Harapan” high school. Be the
Difference. A lot of differences exist in our society. Ranging from
differences in language, culture and more; Muljono believes the distinction
is important because the differences in our lives offer many things. But the
important thing is the difference in our lives from past to future. Why is
that? Because of the differences can determine one’s future. Dare to do
something new. Differences can make us despair but differences can also spur
us to move forward again. Keep the spirit to be the difference.
