Alice Chang, a native of Hong Kong is a stay-at-home mom who put in ten years of volunteering with Beaverton School District. She received both her B.A. (Public Relations) and M.A. (Linguistics) from San Jose State University in California. Until the birth of her first child, Alice taught classes at a community college in California, and later, worked as an advertising copywriter in Houston, Texas, where both her daughters were born. Her husband's job transfer brought the family to Oregon in 1990. In 2003 Alice began her involvement with AAYLC as a workshop facilitator.
