Cyrus Lee

Dr. Cyrus Lee is currently an associate dentist practicing in Beaverton,
OR. Dr. Lee was first on the AAYLC Planning Committee in 2000, when he
was a student at the Oregon Health and Science University. At OHSU, he
served on the Office of Multicultural Affairs Advisory Board and
Director Search Committee. He also was appointed the national Consultant
on Diversity, as well as Chair of the Task Force on Diversity, for the
American Student Dental Association, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.
Along with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, he holds a Bachelor of
Arts in Biological Sciences, Neurobiology Concentration, from
Northwestern University (Evanston, Illinois). At Northwestern, Cyrus
served on the Board of Directors for Asian Youth Services (Chicago,
Illinois), and was that agency's Site Supervisor for the City of
Chicago, Mayor's Office of Employment and Training. He also was a
Visiting Instructor at Lakeview Academy, an alternative high school in
Chicago. Cyrus completed four years of active duty in the United States
Army, including overseas service in the Republic of Korea (Eighth U.S.
Army) as well as Operation Iraqi Freedom (1st Stryker Brigade Combat
Team, 25th Infantry Division). Currently, he is Vice President of the
Chinese American Citizens Alliance (Portland Lodge) as well its Youth
Basketball Program Coordinator. Dr. Lee also serves on the Advisory
Committee for the Kaiser Permanente Community Fund. |
