Melissa Thongtan

Melissa Thongtan is an Assistant Director of Publications for the Office of Public Relations at the University of Portland. She has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism specializing in public relations from the University of Oregon. She attended St. Mary's Academy high school located in downtown Portland. This is Melissa's fourth year of involvement with the AAYLC. Currently, she serves as an AAYLC co-chair and is most active with the college fair and student selection committee. She enjoys volunteering her time to help the students learn valuable life lessons and to help make a difference in the community.
