CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
The 17th annual Asian-American Youth Leadership Conference 2009 is scheduled
to take place on
Friday, May 1, 2009 at Portland Community College Sylvania Campus. The goal
of the conference is to help Asian-American youth rise above the obstacles
before them and achieve their potential by promoting education, imparting
leadership skills and instilling self-confidence. The theme of this year’s
conference is “Aspire to Inspire."
IMPORTANT! The conference registration is open to high school
students from Oregon, Washington and other states. Students and chaperones
are responsible for their own transportation and housing to and from the
conference. High school student participants are not allow to attend on
their own. They must attend with at least one chaperone per group of up to
15 students. Please email either

What does this year’s theme, “Aspire to Inspire”, mean to you? We’re
thrilled to announce AAYLC’s first-ever Student Film Festival! We know there
are tremendous amounts of talent and creativity among our students, and we
want to give you a chance to showcase your gifts by creating short films
centered around the theme “Aspire to Inspire”.
