What is AAYLC?
The Asian American Youth Leadership Conference (AAYLC) brings together students from across the region for a day of inspiration, education, and empowerment. Through interactive workshops, engaging speakers, and meaningful discussions, AAYLC helps students explore identity, leadership, and community.

Who Can Register?
Registration is only open to high schools. An adult representative from each high school must complete the registration form once Open Registration begins on January 19. High school students cannot register themselves.
Each school may bring up to 10 students (not including Student Ambassadors).
Each school must register ONE chaperone who will remain with students throughout the conference on April 24.
Registration Fee: $15.00 per student. The fee is waived for student ambassadors and chaperones.
Registration Timeline:
Open Registration
January 19 – February 15, 2026 (4 weeks)
Open to all schools.
Schools that register during this period are guaranteed a spot, as long as capacity allows.
Please submit payment by March 20, 2026.
Spots are reserved specifically for your school, so we recommend maintaining a wait list in case any registered students are unable to attend. Please note that payments are non-refundable.
Once capacity is reached, registration will shift to Limited Registration early.
Limited Registration
February 16 – March 20, 2026 (5 weeks)
For schools that missed Open Registration.
Spots are not guaranteed (similar to a waitlist).
Schools are encouraged to share how attending AAYLC would uniquely benefit their students (e.g., smaller Asian population, fewer cultural resources).
Please submit payment by April 10, 2026 once confirmation is received.
Once confirmed, the spots are reserved specifically for your school, so we recommend maintaining a waiting list in case any registered students are unable to attend. Please note that payments are non-refundable.
Registration Closed
March 21: Registration closed.
March 30: Schools in Limited Registration will be contacted by March 30 regarding the status of their registration.
Why These Guidelines?
We’ve made a few updates this year based on your feedback:
Smaller group sizes – Each school can bring 10 students to maintain a meaningful and comfortable experience.
More equitable access – The Limited Registration period ensures that schools facing challenges (like smaller Asian student populations or fewer cultural opportunities) still have a chance to attend.

What if some of our students can’t attend?
We recommend that schools keep their own waitlist. If any registered students can’t make it, you can easily substitute others from your list.
How do we submit payment?
Please pay by March 20, 2026 (or April 10, 2026 for Limited Registration schools). Choose one of the following methods:
